    Getting on Post

    You will need to show a government-issued picture ID at the gate and you must be on the Re-enactors List (Pre-Registration List) to enter this facility.  Additionally, your vehicle must be insured and registered.
    SHAEF personnel will be at this gate from
1300 - 2300 on Friday / 0600 - 0730 on Saturday.  Call 615-418-2073 ahead of time to enter during off-hours.

    Barracks

    No ammo or pyro in the barracks!  Do not clean weapons in the barracks.  120 Bed Barrack buildings  - 30 beds per bay - 4 bays per building. 

    Bring your own sheets, pillows, and soap.  Period sleeping gear is encouraged.  Be considerate of your neighbors.  If you want to stay up late or snore like a chainsaw, consider staying off-post. 

    Barracks bunks are free.  Units with at least 25 people with be given their own Barracks Bay.  There are no female Barracks Bays.  Women should contact Event Staff for other options.  Lights out at 23:00!

    Please keep the barracks clean.

    Barracks Parking

    You may not park in front of the barracks building without a parking pass!  Unit commanders of large units may sign out one parking pass each.  It must be returned before leaving.  All others must park in the                 open spots close to the main entrance and walk to the barracks.  Do not park anywhere that is not a designated parking spot, park between 2 white lines.

    Mess Hall and Canteen

    Mess Hall will be open to re-enactors for the entire weekend.  Breakfast will be served from 0530 - 0730; Lunch 11:00 - 13:00; Dinner 17:00 - 19:00.  Price per meal averages around $7.

    The canteen sells sandwiches, snacks, drinks and basic items.  Hours are 0800 - 2000.  To contact the Canteen, call 270-338-9877.

    Training Areas

    The area in use for the battle are Training Areas 1 and 2, which include several square miles and a road network.  Vehicles may be driven on and off-road.  Tracked vehicles must stay out of camps as marked on map.

    Training Area Parking

    All personnel will report to the Sim Center rear parking lot on Saturday morning to get shuttled out to the Training Areas.  It is several miles from the barracks.  Follow the WWII signs starting near the Mess Hall. 

    Please drive your personal-owned vehicles (POV) to the parking lot.  No POVs will be allowed inside the Training Areas except period tactical vehicles. 

    You may remove your blank ammo and pyro from your vehicle only once you are parked here on Saturday and nowhere else.  No test firing in the parking lot or anywhere else except the training areas.

    Maintenance Bay

    A secure fenced-off area will be available to store period vehicles, trucks, and trailers.  It will be locked at night.  Loading and unloading of vehicles should be done outside the fenced area.

    Tank Retriever

    The M88 tank retriever will be on stand-by for any stuck vehicles in the Training Area.
