Welcome to the 3rd TSG Ft. Campbell battle.  This is a tactical battle; not open to the public.

There will be an all day fight on Saturday in the field and a night battle that evening (pending permission from Range Control).  In addition, an optional battle will take place Sunday morning only in the village.  The available terrain includes a US Army training combat village surrounded by hundreds of acres of land to use.  The village will be turned into a French Normandy living history city with period civilians, vendors, and displays.  Nearby Allied and Axis camps will add to the atmosphere.

The Saturday battle is designed to make use of the large playing area.  The scenario will be designed to test your fighting skills and your thinking skills.  There will be a point system in place.  Orders and objectives will roll in to the unit commanders throughout the day changing situations and making it more fluid and realistic.  Expect to be surprised as this will not be your typical meeting engagement.  Unit commanders need to keep control of their men and work towards the scenario objectives.

All period vehicles, including civilian are encouraged to attend. We want to make use of the extensive road network.  Expect to see many vehicles in play, including tanks.

You will be expected to carry into the field all the gear, ammo, rations, and water you will need for the entire day.  There will be NO organized break for the lunch during the battles.  Once in the field, you will be away from your personal vehicles.  Do not plan to leave early and make sure you have lots of blanks for the entire day.  You can also ask period vehicle owners to stage supplies on board.

Unit commanders - Contact us as soon as possible so we can start coordinating with you for the Saturday scenario.

Axis Unit Commanders - Please e-mail Chris Schneider ASAP

Allied Unit Commanders - Please e-mail David Serikaku ASAP
